# File Properties

The **File Properties** window allows you to check and set various attributes of the current document.

- You can view the document's name, its location on the disk, and the associated soundtracks.  
- **Statistics** provide information about the lyrics.  
- The **Document settings** section lets you define the artist's name, the song title, your company, and credits information.  
- **Set company and credits as default**: Saves these values as the default for all new songs.  
- **Syllable separator**: A character used to divide words into syllables for detailed synchronization.  
- **Hard space**: A character used to connect two words, ensuring they are not visibly separated in the karaoke lyrics.
