# Applying Styles to Your Song

## Applying a Predefined Visual Style

To apply a predefined visual style to your song, click the **Styles** button on the toolbar (![image](https://docs.powerkaraoke.com/uploads/images/gallery/2024-12/scaled-1680-/dc368090-bab1-4de9-85d3-1aafd5c6ff2b.png)) or select the **Styles** command from the **Create** menu.

### Song Details

The **Song Details** section of the dialog box allows you to enter the title of the song, artist name, and text displayed as your company information (e.g., *Presented to you by DOBLON*). Credits are displayed after the song is finished.

**Tip:** To force a new line in the Title, Artist, or Company Name fields, use the `^` character.

## What is Style?

Karaoke CD+G Creator allows you to set styles for:

- **Title**: Image displayed before the song.
- **Credits**: Image displayed after the song is finished.
- **Song**: Colors, text formatting, page layout, and image (in the Pro version only) of the lyrics.

Each of these styles can be applied individually, or you can use presets.

## Style Presets

The **Style Preset** combo box allows you to select predefined templates, changing all styles in **Applied Styles**. 

- **Add**: Store your combination of Title, Song, and Credit styles.
- **Save**: Save changes to your combination.
- **Delete**: Remove your preset from the list.

## Applied Styles

The **Applied Styles** list shows styles used for each song section. To change the style:

1. Select it in **Applied Styles**.
2. Choose the new style from the **Available Styles** combo box.
3. Selecting **(Unused)** disables the style.

## Style Editor

The **Style Editor** button opens the [Style Editor dialog box](https://docs.powerkaraoke.com/books/ai-karaoke-cdg-creator-user-manual/page/style-editor), allowing you to create your own styles.

## Preview

The **Preview** window displays the style selected in the **Applied Styles** list.

## Applying and Continuing

Selected styles will be applied to the song when you click the **OK** button. To continue with the tutorial:

1. Select the **Rock** style preset.
2. Click the **OK** button.
