# Adding songs from hard disk In addition to [Smart Add](https://docs.powerkaraoke.com/books/karaoke-dvd-burner/page/adding-songs-from-hard-disc-with-smart-add "Adding songs from hard disk with Smart Add") there are two commands that allow you to add songs from the hard disk. Both of them add songs to the current folder. ##### Add Songs To add songs from a single folder, click the **Add Song(s)** button and choose the songs you want to add. ##### Add Directory The **Add Directory** button allows you to add multiple CDG files from a directory (or subdirectories). Navigate to the starting folder and click OK. ***TIP**: Use *[*Smart Add*](https://docs.powerkaraoke.com/books/karaoke-dvd-burner/page/adding-songs-from-hard-disc-with-smart-add "Adding songs from hard disk with Smart Add")* to add songs from the hard disk, as it automatically names the songs and creates folders.*
