Selecting input files
Karaoke Sound Tools are very simple to use. First you need to select the input file that you would like to process. You can do this by clicking on Browse button (you may use arrow to open the list of recently used files) or by dragging and dropping the file on Karaoke Sound Tools window.
Karaoke Sound Tools supports the following types of files:
|
MP3 |
Compressed audio file |
|
WAV |
Uncompressed audio file |
|
BIN |
Karaoke file containing both audio and video |
|
MP3+G (aka MP3 and CDG file pairs) |
MP3 audio file and CDG file containing lyrics |
If you open an MP3 file Karaoke Sound Tools searches for a CDG file with a matching name and processes it together with the audio file.
Karaoke Sound Tools automatically create output file name by adding -KST to the input file name (eg. for My Song.mp3 input file output file will be My Song-KST.mp3). You may change the output file name and location, but the file format must be the same in both input and output files (ie. you cannot create WAV file from MP3 file, or vice versa).
After the file has been loaded playback and processing buttons become active so you may adjust the parameters and preview the results before processing.
